Job Description
We are seeking candidates for an Instructional Assistant PreK. She/he will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting. This support can include grading assignments preparing materials for class and providing oneonone assistance to students who may need additional help.
Essential Functions
- Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Prepare ageappropriate materials
- Help organize and prepare resources for students
- Help in integrating technology to effectively create a 21stcentury learning environment within the classroom (ISTE Standards)
- Collaborating with other teachers staff students and parents to support student progress
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management
- Participate in all faculty meetings retreats school committees and inservice learning opportunities
- Communicate professionally and promptly with parents
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Elementary Education and/or 90 hours certification preferred
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Must commit to Catholic School education.
Range: $17 $19. Hourly
