Salary:UOM 6 $96459 $104413 p.a. plus 17 super pro rata for part time.

This position is a professional development opportunity for University of Melbourne staff. Only current Continuing FixedTerm and Casual staff are eligible to apply. As the Student Events Coordinator youll be at the heart of delivering critical events for the University of Melbourne. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to largescale graduations and examinations impacting thousands of students annually. Your role will involve managing data improving processes and providing excellent customer service all while working collaboratively across the university to ensure student success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Graduation Events: Play a key role in monthly conferral activities and ceremony planning for approximately 20000 graduating students annually.
  • Support Examination Processes: Support examination timetabling and contribute to incident reporting procedures.
  • Enhance Service Delivery: Respond to staff and student enquiries identify service improvements and contribute to achieving agreed service standards.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Participate in documenting and refining business processes with a focus on testamur and conferral procedures.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a detailoriented professional with strong administrative and interpersonal skills capable of managing data effectively and providing excellent customer service in a fastpaced collaborative environment.

You may also:

  • Have undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel for data management.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
  • Have experience working in a tertiary education environment (highly desirable).
