Are you interested in Generative AI Foundation Models or Large Language Models Our Flow team is looking for Software Development Engineers who can join us in building out state of the art solutions using Generative AI and Large Language Models. Our team builds products which would help Fulfillment Centers (FCs i.e. Amazon Warehouses) around the world to operate efficiently by automating the flow of customer orders through the FC. These products optimize the various processes used to fulfill customer orders including picking packing shipping and other processes. Your work will directly influence Amazon business and customer order promise. As a member of this team you will get the opportunity to work on highly visible innovative projects that directly impact the customer experience. You will be involved in all the aspects of the software development cycle including scoping design implementation testing & delivery of your product. The position has great opportunity for growth.

About the team
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers Amazons global fulfillment network. We invent and deliver software hardware and data science solutions that orchestrate processes robots machines and people. We harmonize the physical and virtual world so Amazon customers can get what they want when they want it.

Outbound Flow
AFTs Outbound Flow team pairs data science with innovative technologies to optimize throughput within every Amazon fulfillment center. We deliver smiles for Amazon customers with safe sustainable costeffective ontime package deliveries.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing
