We are partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company in the veterinary tech space that s making major investments in cloud-based software. They re looking for a hands-on Software Developer Team Lead to join one of their flagship product teams.
This team builds a cloud-native communication platform that empowers veterinary practices to engage pet owners through a seamless digital experience. Built with modern technologies (AWS TypeScript Lambda Postgres ECS) the platform supports high-scale performance reliability and integration across a portfolio of applications.
You ll be leading a squad of developers owning major technical decisions and contributing directly to the codebase this is a hybrid IC/leadership role ideal for someone ready to drive product and engineering quality forward.
Design and implement large-scale high-performing cloud applications
Write scalable maintainable code and robust unit tests
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical planning
Lead technical architecture conversations across functions
Improve platform performance and scalability through thoughtful refactoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and business needs
Support agile development processes and continuous delivery best practices

Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer with leadership responsibilities
Solid background in cloud-based SaaS development
Experience with TypeScript Go AWS Serverless Kubernetes Postgres or similar modern stacks
Proficiency in OO design modular architectures and API integrations (JSON REST SOAP)
Familiarity with unit testing CI/CD and agile workflows
Prior experience in fast-paced product-driven environments preferred
Remote-first with core hours of 9AM 5PM ET

Education
Bachelors / Masters is preferred or the equivalent experience.
