AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify create develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating lowest cost infrastructure in the world.
This individual will lead the technical sourcing of Integrated Circuits and Interconnects needed for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies that meet our customers rapidly growing infrastructure needs. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of Semiconductor supply chains electrical/mechanical connectors & cables and proven ability to manage complex negotiations program manage crossfunctional teams and effectively operate at any level of the organization (up to senior executives).

As our customers grow their businesses AWS will continue to provide infrastructure that meets their global requirements.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and implement Cable and Connector supply chain strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
Understand interconnect industry and technology trends.
Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with crossfunctional stakeholders.
Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
Responsible to provide weekly team updates deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
5 years of professional or military experience
Bachelors degree
5 years working with the electronics industry in supply chain operations manufacturing or engineering fields.
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
5 years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g. determining requirements matching requirements to technical approach and solutions developing solutions against requirements) experience
5 years of experience in Cable/Connector and/or PC Industry development and/or manufacturing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220200/year in our highest geographic market.
