Software Development Engineer Fall Intern Student Veteran Opportunity

Amazon internships are fulltime 40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks with start dates between August 2025 and October 2025. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.

Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.

Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.

Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.

Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable faulttolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.

Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.

Work in an agile environment to deliver highquality software.

Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C Python Java or Perl
Are enrolled in a Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Computer Engineering Data Science Electrical Engineering or majors relating to these fields with a conferral date of December 2025June 2027

Experience with at least one modern language such as Java Python C or C# including objectoriented design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $99500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
