Job Description
Perform various hematology and/or chemistry automated semiautomated and manual procedures as defined by the CP Core Lab procedure manual. Will assume the responsibility as lead technologist of differentials and cell counts. Duties include equipment/method troubleshooting supply inventory writing and reviewing procedures training new staff and students in conjunction with supervisor.
NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist a Masters Degree in one of the chemical physical or biological sciences with two years of Clinical Laboratory experience focusing in Hematology and/or Chemistry OR NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and a minimum of four years of Clinical Laboratory experience focusing in Hematology and/or Chemistry Ability to distinguish colors required.
ASCP Specialty in Hematology.
Monday through Friday Days with rotating weekends and holidays
