Job Description

*$3000 Hiring Bonus*

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • CPM II: Masters Degree in a health related field LCSW/LMFT/LPCC active credential with Board of Behavioral Sciences and licensed for 2 years & completed minimum 15 continuing education hours (CEUs) requirements to provide Clinical Supervision as indicated by the Board of Behavioral Sciences for ASW/AMFT/APCC credentials.
  • Per Community Care Licensing requirements must have at minimum:
    • At least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency at the Masters Degree Level
    • At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families or 18 months experience in working with children and families
    • At least three semester units in working with minority populations; six months of experience in working with minority populations or six months inservice training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment
    • Three years of fulltime social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services OR two years of fulltime social work or casework employment in a licensed foster family or adoption agency
  • Must have sufficient experience and knowledge in the area of mental health social work supervision community based mental health services and/or the child welfare system

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Manager Specific

    • Manages the daytoday operations of the program through effective leadership providing an ongoing assessment of program reporting to the Program Director(s) any deficiencies and plans of correction
    • Assists the Program Director(s) in maximizing the effectiveness of services provided to youth and their families
    • Takes active role in recruitment hiring development evaluation and termination of staff
    • In coordination with Human Resources develops a plan for the orientation development and ongoing training of staff
    • Reviews and approves all documentation prepared by the program staff
    • Provides leadership direct supervision training and support to team members including: regular onetoone consultation meetings regular assessment of performance and routine provision of feedback as it pertains to job performance professional development and program and agency job specific expectations
    • Ensures the provision of a wide array of family centered services to consumers with appropriate regard to their physical and mental wellbeing
    • Collaborates with the program management team daily to review new referral packets and complete case assignments
    • Takes a lead role in the implementation of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) models and therapeutic groups for youth and families in the program
    • Reviews complaints generated by clients their representatives and/or other agents and develop plans to address each complaint satisfactorily
    • Documents all services provided to youth or on behalf of youth
    • Reviews critical incident reports and ensures followup plans are in place to address safety and minimize risk
    • Ensures documentation is compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements
    • Participates in oncall rotation
    • Participates in Utilization Review Accreditation County and State Audits as requested.
    • Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in their Employee Development Plan

    Position Specific

    • Performs the Program Specific essential job junctions of CPM I in addition to the following:

      • Stays current and in compliance with all BBS Clinical Supervisor regulations requirements and statutes
      • Completes all required agency county university and California Board of Behavioral Sciences required documentation and evaluations for supervisees as required
      • Provides individual triadic and/or group clinical supervision to Associates MFT Trainees and Clinical Student Interns
      • Will observe supervisees using audio and/or video recordings attending telehealth sessions via oneway mirror or inperson according to university or county contracts and as clinically indicated to provide coaching and feedback
      • Communicates directly with the supervisees Administrative Supervisor regarding supervisees status progress overall clinical performances and challenges. Collaborates with Administrative Supervisor and supervisee on all cases with particular emphasis on challenging and complex situations
      • Provides biyearly written evaluations for each supervisee as part of their professional development plans
      • Ensures the provision of a wide array of family centered services to consumers with appropriate regard to their physical and mental wellbeing

    Agency Specific

    • Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics the agencys policies and procedures contractor requirements and regulatory requirements.
    • Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agencys Mission Vision and Values
    • Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
    • Utilize and maintain calendar with all workrelated details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
    • Participate in ongoing training to expand and develop professional skills
    • Perform other duties as necessary for the agency as assigned

    Employment AtWill
    Employment at the Agency is terminable atwill which means that employment may be
    terminated at any time without cause or reason by either the employee or the Agency. In
    addition the Agency may also demote layoff transfer or reassign employees at any time at its
    sole discretion without cause or reason.
