Job Description
A NIHfunded postdoctoral position isimmediatelyavailable in Dr. Haitao Wangs laboratory at Mayo Clinic Rochester MN USA. The group uses cuttingedge cellular and molecular biologytechniques primary cell culture singlecell RNA seq RNA and protein quantification analysis and mousemodels tostudy the mechanism of heterotopic ossification of muscle and refer to our recent publications (JBMR PMIDJBMR PMIDPNAS PMIDSci Transl Med PMID:and lab website more information aboutresearch interestsand collaborative researchenvironment.
Candidate must have a Ph.D. selfmotivation high productivity and a strong background in standard molecular and biological techniques cell culture and animal models. Previous experience in skeletalbiology is preferred but not position requires the ability to lead projects and work cooperatively with others carry out and troubleshoot experiments and assist in grant and manuscript writing.

Qualifications
Must have a Ph.D. M.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
