Must be able to exert well paced mobility for periods of up to four 4 hours. Must have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to walk bend stoop and use finger dexterity for periods up to 4 hours at a time. Must be able to stand for up to four 4 hours at a time. Must be able to visually differentiate colors for the purposes of food safety. Must be able to work when exposed to wet floors temperature extremes and loud noise. Must be able to work independently with the appropriate amount of supervision. Must be able to listen attentively and comprehend verbal instructions in English
One year in a food preparation position. Experience in a high volume a la carte operation and proven customer service skills. Successful cash register experience. Experience with MICROS registers. Working knowledge of standard commercial kitchen equipment. Current managerial ServSafe certification. Demonstrates a professional demeanor. Successful experience assisting customers Experience working with students and a diverse multi cultural staff.
This fulltime position is approximately nine months/year and will begin in August 2021. Hours vary based on location and operational needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays per the union contract. The position is available at the following locations.
Kennedy Union Primary shift 12:30pm8:00pm MondayThursday Friday 9:30am5:00pm rotating Sundays per the union contract
Marycrest Primary shift 3:30pm11:00pm weekend rotation per the union contract
Virginia Kettering Primary shift 3:30pm11:00pm weekend rotation per the union contract
Emporium Primary shift 4:00pm11:30pm weekend rotation per the union contract
