Job Description
The St. Philip Neri School is seeking a highlyskilled individual to serve as a Middle School Math Teacher. We provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership achievement and service within the church and community.
Essential Functions
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.
- Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate challenge and engage students.
- Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church.
- Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
- Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional empathetic and timely manner.
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Expertly integrate G Suite for Education into a 21stcentury classroom.
- Meet the needs interests and abilities of students in accordance with the curriculum. Effective instruction will include differentiated learning.
Position Qualifications
- Degree in math or Education with a math concentration
- MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math or the willingness to obtain this
- Knowledge of curriculum and principles and practices of pedagogy
- Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as enriching and differentiate instruction
- Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal fingerprint background check completion of VIRTUS Training and completion of all necessary paperwork.

Range: $50000 Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location skills education experience for this role and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus which is determined upon company and individual performance.
