Position open until filled with priority placed on applications received by 06/21/2022. The New Student Coach is a vital role serving as a resource and guide to prospective students and applicants. The New Student Coach provides highquality service allowing prospective students to successfully complete the college onboarding process. New Student Coaches embrace a holistic model of care and use the case management approach to new student onboarding. New Student Coaches serve as the primary point of contact for a new student decreasing fragmentation of services and providing quality care across a continuum of enrollment requirements. The New Student Coach keeps prospective students engaged from the first point of contact through registration. The New Student Coach will provide guidance and direction for prospective and new students and support them from the moment of first inquiry decreasing the length of time spent from being interested in college to registering for college. This is accomplished by: downloading daily application reports monitoring prospective student and applicant progress throughout the enrollment process responding to all questions/inquiries providing information about Laurel Ridge Community College career and educational pathways and the enrollment process. The New Student Coach will also need to be able to recognize and report potential bogus applications. The New Student Coach collaborates with college colleagues to remediate barriers to prospective student enrollment with the goal of enrolling a prospect within 2448 hours of first inquiry. College New Student Coaches are not expected to be content matter experts; however they will have expertise in connecting with experts to allow for seamless onboarding. New Student Coaches will receive extensive training prior to meeting with students a toolkit for onthejob reference and required ongoing professional development throughout the year. Consistent with prepandemic policies telework may be an option for certain eligible positions. Compensation and Benefits The hiring range for this position is $36000$45000. Salary will commensurate with education and experience. Work Schedule
