Job Description
St. Philip Neri School is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher. Our teacher will provide the students with a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6 7 and 8. This is a fulltime benefiteligible 10month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
- Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning
- Maintains accurate and complete records of students progress and development in a timely manner.
- Communicates standards achievements and deficiencies to students and parents through email phone calls conferences and electronic grade book.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required
- MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification required
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Proficient in using a variety of technology

Range: $45000 $50000 Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location skills education experience for this role and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus which is determined upon company and individual performance.
