Job Description
As our Bookkeeper you ll play a pivotal role in managing bookkeeping for multiple clients using cuttingedge Xero software. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend your financial acumen with compassionate client service. Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for a diverse portfolio of 17 clients using Xero software
- Act as a primary point of contact handling client communications with empathy and professionalism
- Perform crucial financial tasks including data entry bank reconciliations and invoice preparation
- Contribute to debt collection processes applying a sensitive approach to challenging situations
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Adapt to evolving client needs providing tailored support to businesses facing financial difficulties
- Utilize online collaboration tools to maintain efficient remote work practices
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Xero accounting software with a track record of managing multiple client accounts
- Strong bookkeeping skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- Proven ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities effectively
- Empathetic approach and patience when dealing with clients in financial distress
- Flexibility to align with New Zealand business hours including potential early morning starts
- Experience in remote work environments and familiarity with online collaboration tools
- Passion for continuous learning and adaptability in a growing dynamic company
- Background in financial services or experience with businesses in financial difficulty is a plus
- Dual monitor is required
