CITY DEEP JOHANNESBURG GAUTENG PROVINCE

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SALARY ON OFFER:R12000 TO R20 000 BASIC EXCELLENT COMPANY BENEFITSper month
  • Matric
  • B. Comm Degree in Accounting / Bookkeeping
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification relevant accounting experience as aBookkeeperand supervising a team of financial / admin staff
  • Experience in Monthly Financial Accounts / Management Reports / Bank Reconciliations / Statutory Returns / Payroll / Creditors / Petty Cash & Administration
  • Highly experienced on Accounting Packages includingSAP
  • Experienced in EFiling
  • Proficient on all MS Office packages with Advanced MS Excel &SAP
  • Willing to work Retail hours
  • Willing to commute to and from City Deep on a daily basis
  • Valid drivers license (no endorsements)
  • Own reliable vehicle / transport

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Main duties & Job Function:

  • The Bookkeeper will be reporting to the Financial Manager
  • Will supervise a team of Financial / Admin Staff

  • Monthly Financial Accounts
  • Daily & Weekly Management Reports
  • Supervision of Financial / Admin Staff
  • Banking & Adhoc Reconciliations
  • Statutory Returns
  • General Salary input incl. Staff purchases & Loans
  • Petty cash management and Reconciliation
  • Creditors Payments
  • Assisting and relieving the Branch Accountant on all financial matters
  • General Admin & other Ad hoc duties
