Technical translator with Slovak
Field of expertise: Technical documentation

STAR7 Group is recruiting Translators from English/Italian into Slovak to be part of our growing Teams.
- Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
- Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references (translation memory glossary style guides etc.
- Ensure highgrammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references
- Correct formatting/tagging punctuation country specifics terminology style fluency as per guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Translation Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
- Native speaker in Slovak language
- Excellent command of the English/Italian language in both comprehension and writing (knowledge of other languages particularly German is considered a plus).
- Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized in Technical field
- IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
- Comfortable with technology and open to learn to use new tools
- Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
- Adaptive to fastpaced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving and decisionmaking skills
