Job Description
As a PostPurchase Jr. Underwriter you ll review and resolve postpurchase Agency and Investor requests analyze audit findings remediate deficiencies submit documentation and ensure timely compliance with guidelines. This role demands strong mortgage operations knowledge keen attention to detail and effective communication to support quality control and investor relations.
Job Overview
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM PST
Work setup: Remote / Work From Home
- Review loanlevel findings and investor audit notifications
- Remediate postpurchase deficiencies including HUD PETRs
- Formulate cures and submit appeals to agencies and investors
- Monitor reps and warrants activity pipelines to ensure due date compliance
- Escalate suspected fraud cases to appropriate channels
- Submit file requests to investors and agencies
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Proficient in English both written and verbal
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control loan review or mortgage underwriting
- Skilled in calculating assets income and liabilities on the 1003 Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA)
- Familiar with GSE platforms
- Experienced in using HUD s Lender Review System (LRS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Encompass (preferred)
