Job Description
Coordinate strategic initiatives and objectives for different areas of the department. Obtain the established results in terms of quality finance health and safety and organizational climate facilitate the of proposals to
reduce plant expenses and waste applying tools of operational excellence while promoting continuous improvement and promoting the proposal and implementation of ideas in the area. Ensure the health and safety of people and promote activities for the creation of a good organizational climate.
Main Responsabilities
- Support in the development of short and medium term strategies.
- Monitor and support the accountability processes of the different work teams among others: Tier meetings operations gemba meeting SWAT CL O.S Lean Thinkers.
- Control and generate ideas and improvement actions for the production process in order to achieve occupational health quality and financial results in addition to generating the necessary reports on company performance.
- Promote a pleasant work environment based on Ways We Work values.
- Lead and ensure the implementation of the projects established in the department.
- Promote support and collaborate with the activities required for the proper functioning of the organization such as: communication meetings yearend activities and corporate social responsibility issues.
- All other functions inherent to the position and those assigned by your immediate boss.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS requirements through compliance with internal policy and procedures. Likewise ensure compliance through the adoption of necessary strategies internal controls communication and training.
- Continuously improve EHS outcomes through leadership commitment and participation in all EHSrelated initiatives.
Qualifications :
Degree in Engineering: Electromechanical Electronics Mechatronics. Other engineering would be considered.
At least 7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer in the Medical Industry managing personnel in charge.
Advanced knowledge and skills in managing computer packages and systems (Microsoft Office).
English level B2 (Common European Framework).
Knowledge and experience in Criteria of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing.
Knowledge in project management.
Knowledge of quality and safety regulations applicable to the business.
Knowledge of the companys quality system.
