- Oversee shift security operations ensuring safety of guests employees and hotel property.
- Handle and document incidents including guest complaints security breaches and emergencies.
- Conduct VIP escorts and respond promptly to security incidents and medical emergencies.
- Investigate and report theft property damage and security breaches preparing detailed incident reports.
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as required.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations health & safety laws and hotel security protocols.
- Lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) training and organise fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Assist in HSE (Health Safety & Environment) audits and other compliance checks.
- Conduct Safety Committee Meetings with EXCOM and department heads preparing minutes and ensuring followup actions.
- Maintain detailed records of security incidents and assist in special events or highprofile guest security arrangements.
- Remain informed of local laws and regulations related to hotel security guest rights and employee rights.
- Assist law enforcement officers in guest complaints security breaches or fraud investigations.
- Other tasks or projects as assigned by the Head of Security and Hotel Management.
As the Safety & Security Officer you are responsible for maintaining a safe secure and wellmanaged environment within the hotel premises ensuring guest satisfaction employee wellbeing and asset protection. Your proactive approach in risk management training and emergency response is crucial to the smooth operation of the hotel.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in any fields
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Previous experience in investigations and document management is essential.
- Minimum 1 year previous Security experience preferably in a luxury environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication with strong focus on documentation
- Strong guest service orientation
- Should have knowledge about HIRA Occupational health and safety or related fields.
- First aid AED and CPR certifications required
- Regulatory knowledge in NBC NFPA and other applicable standards preferred

- Experienced in CPR AEDs first aid firefighting and crowd control.
- Carries out firefighting duties in an emergency as part of the Hotel Core Fire Fighting Team.
- Assisting in Emergency drills.

- Experienced in the following computer programs: MS Outlook MS Word MS Excel and have a basic understanding of computer operations.
