Specific Position Requirements
The County Law Enforcement Applied Regionally (CLEAR) section of the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) division is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Computer Programmer Analyst with a talented and motivated individual with strong Database Programming and Database Administration skills. This employee assists in the analysis of city county and criminal justice agencies data processing needs; assists in the design testing and implementation of systems; performs database design implementation and maintenance of databases; administration of new and existing databases. Performs other related duties as required.

Assures that appropriate IT security is considered in all tasks.
Acts in compliance with the City of Cincinnatis Information Security Policy Administrative Regulations and related standards and procedures in the Citys Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
A RESUME AND NECESSARY TRANSCRIPT(S) MUST BE ATTACHED TO BE CONSIDERED
Each applicant must have completed an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science information technology computer programming criminal justice geography or a related field. In addition each applicant must have one year of professional paid work experience performing work similar to that listed under Examples of Work Performed.
OR
Each applicant must have completed 45quarter credit hours from an accredited college or university with 30 of the 45 credit hours being in computer science information technology and/or computer programming. In addition each applicant must have two years of professional paid work experience performing work similar to that listed under Examples of Work Performed. A certification program such as a Novell or Windows NT engineer may substitute for one year paid work experience (completion of other certification programs not listed will be reviewed on a casebycase basis).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Drivers License for some positions.
Some positions may require a criminal background investigation and fingerprinting due to the sensitive nature of the work.
May be required to work irregular hours and be oncall.
