Job Description

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a customerobsessed Learning Specialist Program Manager who enjoys working in and thrives in an innovative dynamic organization. You will own the endtoend cycle in multiple learning programs. You will ensure that our programs create exceptional learning experiences that produce expected business outcomes. You will transform our programs through technology so we can easily scale to meet our operations and organizational needs nationwide. You will champion the learners voice to shape how they learn develop their skills and build their proficiency.

We do this by constructing fast effective and purposeful learning products and services that: a) uphold accreditation standards; b) support performance excellence; c) strengthen AHS culture and d) foster professional development.

The right person for this role has strong passion for learning. They bring experience applying knowledge of learning science design and instructional technologies to create and improve learning environments. They program manage through smart use of technology PM tools and skills. This individual continuously improves our learner experience using an array of creative approaches which drive productivity innovation and operational excellence.


Key job responsibilities
Own endtoend cycle of multiple learning programs.

Program manage multiple small and mediumsize learning programs leveraging selected APL technology.

Operationalize strategy to build and deliver scalable and consistently effective learning products and services. May contribute to strategy development.

Surface and address business and learner needs through rigorous application and documentation of analysis tools (root cause analysis (RCA) performance gap analysis learning needs analysis). Use data to identify and action highimpact improvement opportunities.

Create launch and maintain (evergreen) documentation and learning materials using a variety of authoring/distribution tools and technology.

Design develop and deliver barraising learning experiences.

Build and administer valid and reliable assessments to gauge learning effectiveness.

Build and apply communication mechanisms to provide the right information to the right audiences at the right time. This includes invitations scheduling weekly/biweekly updates monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Facilitate remote and inperson learning experiences.


Pharmacy Technician who holds active and unrestricted State Board of Pharmacy License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB and/or NHA).

Familiarity with National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and/ or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) standards.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

At least one year project management experience.

Proven ability to learn and apply new technology.

Proven ability to write instructions and learning content

Proven ability to facilitate inperson and remote learning experiences demonstrating adult learning principles.

Proven ability to use data to generate actionable insights.

Proven ability to collaborate and earn trust with stakeholders team members learner groups crossfunctional business partners.

Able to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

Demonstrated experience in risk management and overcoming obstacles.

Ability to travel up to 50



Instructional design and development experience

Smartsheet proficiency

Technical writing experience

Excellent interpersonal presentation written and verbal communication skills required

Minimum two years pharmacy experience.

Knowledge of pharmacy laws federal and state regulations concerning patient care

Compliance experience in healthcare preferably in pharmacy setting.

Familiarity with the issues and challenges facing healthcare entities including changes in healthcare and research practices legal/regulatory changes and technological trends.

Familiarity with federal and state health services regulations including Medicare Medicaid and thirdparty payers as well as federal and state privacy rules and regulations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $91400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
