Job Description

Spravato Case Manager position now available in our Chicago Center offering the opportunity to manage the care of Spravato (esketamine) patients as they seek treatment for depression.

This position will be located in our Chicago center. We are looking for someone with flexibility to work during any of our hours of operation 7am 7pm). Our case managers work 8hour daily shifts but schedules will vary depending on our patients needs.

We offer a competitive pay range of $2124/hour(based on education level and prior experience) PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match paid time off and medical/dental/vision benefits.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing physician and technician schedules related to Spravato treatments.
  • Obtaining prior authorizations for new patients
  • Maintaining authorizations for active patients.
  • Assisting technicians with patient care and medication ordering from various pharmacies to each center.
  • Maintaining compliance with REMS DEA Med log audits etc.
  • Auditing Spravato Charts as needed
  • Assisting with Spravato consults as needed
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
  • Office administrative tasks such as answering phones maintaining office organization managing leads reporting statistical activity to center manager collecting copays and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience as Certified Medical Assistant Medication Technician or Nursing Assistant with experience working with authorizations for medication required
  • 2 years mental/behavioral health experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred or a HS Diploma or Associates degree PLUS Medical Assistant certification/licensure and experience required
  • Medical Insurance experience required

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with administering controlled substance preferred but not required
  • Previous TMS and/or Spravato administration experience preferred but not required
  • Prior EMR/EHR Experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Billing software knowledge
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Previous experience working directly with MDs.
