ARSIEM is looking for a Network Systems Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction MD.
Responsibilities
- Use Network Engineering System Administrator and command line Linux skills to maintain a full and robust multiserver network
- Manage the overall operational health of a customer network; must be a selfstarter to lead technical efforts across organizations
- Support the design and infrastructure of the network with a future overhaul planned
- Thorough knowledge of Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN) Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system compliance
- Create and maintain accounts troubleshooting at all levels
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or an Associates degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Degree must be in Network Engineering Systems Engineering Information Technology or related field.
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development programming information/cyber/network security vulnerability analysis penetration testing computer forensics information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally must have experience in network or system administration.
- Current experience with management of virtualized infrastructure including multinode and multisite networks
- Recent experience with Linux and Windows operating systems (command line a must)
- Recent experience with containerization Docker and/or Kubernetes a plus
$171000 $192000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role If you do ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $5000 and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
