Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our technical design team as an Application Scientist Technical Design. The Application Scientist Technical Design is a client facing technical subject matter expert (SME) that provides custom solutions based on understanding the clients needs to help grow our TriLinks mRNA services business. The candidate will work within a cross functional team that includes regional sales/BD representatives proposals product management marketing R&D Manufacturing and Analytical teams. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic work environment applying their technical expertise towards creative customer solutions. How you will make an impact:
- Partner with Business Development and Sales teams to improve customer journey by providing technical support and understanding of customer needs during presale activities including but not limited to TriLinks custom discovery services inmRNA manufacturing analytical testing and relevant products.
- Support customer journey from early discovery on.
- Represent the company scientifically at conferences seminars and webinars alongside R&D.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to produce applicable quotes RFPs HLEs Proposals and SOWs for clientspecific technical needs.
- Highlight the Voice of Customer (VOC) to internal teams to drive business focus and innovation.
- Stay informed on technological advances industry trends and innovations in RNA health.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in biological field (i.e. molecular biology biochemistry or genomics); with at least 4 years of extensive technical experience in nucleic acids lab techniques from biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. At least 2 years of experience for PhD.
- Preferred lab experiences in: R&D Process Development QC directly in mRNA. GMP manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong clientfacing skills taskoriented and able to communicate scientifically with technical teams.
- ProventrackrecordworkingwithBusinessDevelopmentMarketingandSalesinLifeSciences.
- AdvancedunderstandingofmolecularbiologyandmRNA/nucleicacidtherapeuticapplications including manufacturing and analytical methods.
- UnderstandingofclinicaldevelopmentpathwaysandcurrentregulatoryorCMCrequirements.
- Abilitytoprioritizemultipleprojectsinafastpaceddeadlinedrivenenvironment.
- Ability to travel up to 30 including semiregular visits to company Headquarters (San Diego CA) and customer visits as needed
The anticipated salary range for this position is $102000 $116000. In addition highly competitive longterm incentives in the form of company equity bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidates skills experience and other qualifications as well as the location of the role.
