Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Substation P&C Relay Technical Settings Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The Substation P&C Relay Technical Settings Engineer will be responsible for developing testing and implementing protection and control (P&C) relay settings for electrical substations. This role involves ensuring the reliability and safety of power systems through precise relay settings and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Relay Settings: Design and implement protection and control relay settings for substation equipment.

Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing and commissioning of relay settings to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.

Coordination Studies: Perform coordination studies to ensure optimal protection and coordination of substation equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to relay settings and protection schemes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of relay settings test results and coordination studies.

Compliance: Ensure all relay settings and protection schemes comply with relevant standards and regulations.

Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project .

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation protection and control engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relay setting software (e.g. SEL AcSELerator GE Enervista) and familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEEE IEC).
