Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Technical Business Analyst you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the clients investment operations by acting as the bridge between our business needs and technical solutions. You will be instrumental in analyzing designing and implementing integrations between various internal systems primarily focusing on core portfolio management and AUM tracking platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of both business processes within a VC firm and the technical aspects of system integrations data flow and software development lifecycles.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration Finance or a related field.
- 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst preferably within Financial Services (Venture Capital Private Equity Asset Management Investment Banking).
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and technologies (APIs ETL processes middleware).
- Proven experience with financial systems and data specifically portfolio management systems AUM tracking or fund accounting software (e.g. Allvue eFront Backstop Solutions Dynamo Investran AltaReturn).
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis validation and reporting.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
