The Software Manager is responsible for application development and governance processes using thirdparty suppliers. They are responsible for communicating technical opportunities and constraints to service owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands business needs via close communication with the service/product manager.
  • Understands interdependencies with other applications within the domain.
  • Communicates technical opportunities and constraints to the service owner.
  • Leads application development via a thirdparty supplier.
  • Ensures compliance with application governance processes.
  • Works independently with little to no supervision.

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science Informatics Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of experience with audio video and meeting room solutions with expertise in at least one major technology such as Cisco Crestron or similar.
  • Fundamental knowledge of network concepts and Microsoft 365 applications (Teams Exchange and Azure).
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience coordinating development and deployment of production software via thirdparty suppliers.
  • A history of solving business problems with digital solutions.
  • Experience in project management/leadership.
  • Desired certifications: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation.
