The Software Manager is responsible for application development and governance processes using thirdparty suppliers. They are responsible for communicating technical opportunities and constraints to service owners.
Responsibilities:
- Understands business needs via close communication with the service/product manager.
- Understands interdependencies with other applications within the domain.
- Communicates technical opportunities and constraints to the service owner.
- Leads application development via a thirdparty supplier.
- Ensures compliance with application governance processes.
- Works independently with little to no supervision.
Job Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science Informatics Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience with audio video and meeting room solutions with expertise in at least one major technology such as Cisco Crestron or similar.
- Fundamental knowledge of network concepts and Microsoft 365 applications (Teams Exchange and Azure).
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment.
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience coordinating development and deployment of production software via thirdparty suppliers.
- A history of solving business problems with digital solutions.
- Experience in project management/leadership.
- Desired certifications: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation.
