Position Summary...
What youll do...
As part of WalmartsSocialCommerce team you will be building highly scalable and reliable APIs datapipelinesservicesand applications which will drive the next generation of affiliates openAPIand social commerce handle high impact critical software/systemsmonitoringissues troubleshoot business and production issues. WhatYoullDo
- Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems byleveragingstateofthearttechnology
- Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and Ecommerce platforms.
- Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.
- Participates in medium to largescale complex crossfunctional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example design documents product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bugfixes; enhancing design to prevent reoccurrences of defects; ensuring ontime delivery.
WhatYoullBring:
- Bachelors Degree orMasters degree in Computer Scienceor related field and5 years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications
- Strong Experience with ReactJS/NextJS and web development experiencerequired.
- Strong experience interfacing with Web Services platforms
- Proficient in JavaScript AJAX HTML5 CSS3 JSON
- Proficient in NodeJSGraphQL
- Proficient in development of scalable cloud native microservices
- Proficient with Designing and building APIs
- Proficient with event driven architecture
- Experience with Cloud Technologies like Azure and GCP
- Designed built andmaintainedAPIs services of highly scalable platforms.
- Designed and built frontend applications using NextJS and frameworks
- Experience using/extending Directus (Headless CMS)
- Extensive knowledge of unit and functional testing
- Extensive knowledge of opensource libraries design patterns and microservice architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing
- Experience in production system operations (logging telemetry alerting etc.
