Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Makati City Philippines. As a key member of our finance department you will be responsible for managing financial records preparing reports and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Prepare month end reports and schedules.
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations (banks accounts intercompany).
- Performs reconciliation via Blackline.
- Prepares and submit Audit schedules.
- Review Exploration records and expenses.
- Prepares Quarterly and Annual Expenditure Report for MGB (FTAA & other tenements).
- Manage monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
- Assist in financial analysis and insights to support decisionmaking
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Preferably a Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting preferably in the financial services sector
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Outstanding time management and organisational abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Additional Information :
- Based in Makati City on a 5 days on/2 days off compressed work week
