Job Description

At LinkedIn our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture connection clarity and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role will be based in San Francisco Sunnyvale or  New York.

The Strategic Growth Lead for LinkedIn Events will be responsible for developing and executing gotomarket strategies positioning and messaging for LinkedIns live streaming solutions for professional events. These events include virtual conferences corporate webinars product launches and other live experiences that help professionals and organizations connect and learn. 

This individual will work with product engineering sales and content teams to deliver impactful campaigns that position LinkedIns live streaming and events products as the leading solution for professionals and organizations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of live streaming technologies the live event industry and proven experience in the marketing and commercialization of complex hightech products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Positioning & Messaging:

    • Develop and refine LinkedIns live events GTM motion ensuring it is targeted and resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences from event organizers to professional attendees.

    • Work with crossfunctional teams to create a unified voice for LinkedIns live streaming products across all marketing channels and materials.

  • GotoMarket Strategy:

    • Lead the gotomarket strategy for LinkedIns suit of events products.

    • Partner with product management engineering and marketing to ensure successful feature rollouts and product updates.

    • Partner with product management to build and execute product launch plans that engage our core audience enhance user adoption and drive growth.

    • Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape to inform recommendations on product development

  • Commercialization Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute the commercialization strategy for LinkedIns live streaming products.

    • Define product packaging pricing strategies and revenue models for this product portfolio. 

    • Work with crossfunctional teams to refine the value propositions and unique selling points of LinkedIns live streaming offerings.

  • Sales Enablement:

    • Provide the internal sales team with training messaging and materials to help them position and sell LinkedIns live event solutions.

    • Partner with sales to join client conversations and pitches 

    • Inform and develop clientspecific / verticalspecific game plans for leveraging LinkedIns suite of eventrelated offerings

  • Revenue Growth & Performance Tracking:

    • Analyze market trends and user behavior to identify commercial opportunities and define KPIs for product performance growth and profitability.

    • Monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize revenue and market share while ensuring productmarket fit.

    • Track the success of pricing models and monetization strategies.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in gotomarket strategy product marketing or commercialization within the tech media or live event industry.
  • 5 years of experience working with live streaming technologies virtual event platforms or digital media monetization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling hightech products in the B2B and/or B2C space.
  • Deep understanding of live streaming ecosystems event technology trends and competitive market dynamics.
  • Experience defining and executing pricing strategies revenue models and commercialization plans for digital products.
  • Strong ability to synthesize market insights competitive analysis and customer feedback into actionable GTM strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams including product management engineering sales and content teams.
  • Exceptional storytelling positioning and messaging skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and crossfunctional teams in a complex matrixed organization.
  • Prior experience in sales enablement including training sales teams and developing sales collateral.
  • Datadriven mindset with experience in performance tracking KPI development and revenue optimization.
  • MBA preferred.

The pay range for this role is $241000 $404000 OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
