Cut and Crease Operator
Our client a manufacturer of specialist Print Packaging products near Huntingdon currently has an immediate opportunity for a Cut & Crease Operative.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set and run cut and crease machines.
- Ensure the smooth running of the cut and crease machines producing high quality product.
- Identify and solve issues as they arise individually and along with other operators/management.
- Running routine maintenance.
- Ensuring quality and productivity targets are met.
- Machinery to be kept clean and maintained at all times.
Person Specification:
- Experience working within a packaging/print manufacturing environment ideally working with cartons but other backgrounds will be considered
- Cut and crease experience setting and running machinery.
- Machine operating experience essential
- Embossing/Debossing/Diecutting/Foil blocking experience considered
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Flexible and Proactive.
Hours and Pay:
- Up to 35k DOE
- Rotating shifts or permanent nights
