The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kettering College is seeking to fill an openrank* faculty position in English/Humanities. The individual filling this position will be teaching primarily Firstyear Composition (writing and research) classes and Humanities electives. A multidisciplinary candidate is preferred which could include expertise and training in healthcare humanities art music and/or history. The candidate must demonstrate readiness to develop and teach online and facetoface courses.
This position will be offered as a standard contract; this is the traditional Fall and Spring academic schedule. It is possible that this could be an extended contract (including a summer semester) depending on the candidates willingness to participate in student support and/or the candidates multidisciplinary training.
Intended start date August 2025.
*Rank and compensation will be determined based on the candidates educational background professional and teaching experience and scholarly achievements.
