Business Profile: WymanGordon is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. We hold quality accreditations for all the major airframe and engine manufacturers for both civil and military applications. WymanGordon creates rotating closeddie forgings which are critical for aerospace and landbased gas turbines. WymanGordon also manufactures structural forgings for airframe nuclear petrochemical power generation and space applications.

Location Profile: Located in Ontario CA Summit Machine specializes in the rough and finish machining of super alloys for the aerospace commercial defense power and petroleum industries. Complex components include nickel base titanium stainless steel aluminum and carbon steels with parts ranging in size from 2 OD 100 OD.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for entering work orders into a software system communicating and/or resolving order issues with internal customers creating necessary documentation for the shop floor personnel and scanning and/or filing closed orders. The successful person will ensure accuracy of order information and may communicate any changes or issues regarding the purchase orders (POs) to the customers. They may work with other departments such as operations quality engineering and shipping to resolve any issues and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally the successful person will learn basic inspection techniques and assist with various inspection tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail personal responsibility initiative organizational skills and communication skills both written and verbal.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and enter new work orders from existing customers into Oracle and transfer into the internal ERP system (PCC03.
  • Review incoming job documentation and report issues to various departments.
  • Resolve issues with customers concerning pricing discrepancies quantities work scope part marking etc.
  • Request price changes from customer.
  • Create job folders and print out shop floor documentation
  • Cancel jobs when requested by customer.
  • Scan closed files into the server and file hard copies
  • Act as the primary backup for backend quality processes (e.g. cert packets)
  • Assist other departments during times of reduced workload. Examples include reception duties SOX testing tool crib organization 6S audits inspection tasks and/or receiving vendor orders in Oracle for payment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Must be fluent in English for reading and writing.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office specifically Word and Excel

Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED is required
  • 12 years of office experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • 1 years of data entry experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred.

For informational purposes only the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only this role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Companys bonus multiple based on the Companys performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the companys medical dental vision and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Companys 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). To be qualified to work in this facility a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person as defined in those regulations and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
