Job Description
S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in We are looking for a talented Mechanical Assembler who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.
The Afternoon Shift is Monday Thursday 4:00 pm 2:00 am
As a Mechanical Assembler you will
- Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics
- Read and interpret assembly drawings
- Follow set instructions job orders and record information
- Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists
- Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles
- Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards
Who are we looking for Someone who has
- Is currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution (diploma or degree program)
- Experience working with hand tools manual and power drills screwdrivers and side cutters
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and follow written or verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and quality
- Excellent organization and problemsolving skills
- Team player and good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
