Role: Scientific Communications Manager
Business Unit: Royal Canin India
Location: Mumbai


Job Overview:

We are looking for a Scientific Communications Manager who can help us to drive brand awareness in the scientific community through online and offline channels and support our local marketing and PR campaigns through executing our local scientific communication strategy.

What are we looking for

  • You have a Masters degree or equivalent in Veterinary Medicine or Food Science. Ideally you have a specialization in communications.

  • Ideally you have 3 years of experience in similar position and total 1012 years of experience in Animal Health/Nutrition/Feed/Pet Food or Consumer Goods Industry.

  • You have highly developed presentation skills and can comfortably speak in front of virtual and live audiences.

  • You have a high passion for bettering pets lives by transforming how the world applies pet nutrition.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • You will help to develop and deploy our local scientific communication strategy in line with the business strategy of Royal Canin.

  • You will partner with marketing teams to deliver an effective and integrated scientific strategy that enhances the reputation of Royal Canin.

  • You will help to develop a connection for the reputation of Royal Canin with our focus on health through nutrition science and quality and food safety.

  • You will drive Royal Canin brand awareness by collaborating with leading universities and specific experts in veterinary health presenting results at scientific conferences and working with digital channels.

  • You will create a local strategy for Scientific Communication based on global scientific communication directives and local adaptation based on priority of the local unit

  • You will be responsible for creating/adapting scientific materials and modules

  • You will support regulatory affairs teams when product knowledge is required
