RPOs client is actively seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join their team in Cape Town Western Cape. They are looking for a candidate with proven skills in managing distribution operations optimizing supply chain processes and leading distribution teams effectively.
This is an opportunity for a dedicated professional who wants to grow their career. This is a fulltime onsite position. The client would like someone who is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire distribution process ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency reduce costs and meet delivery targets.
- Supervise and lead distribution teams providing direction and fostering a highperformance culture.
- Collaborate with warehouse transport and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain best practices across distribution channels.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accurate recordkeeping and stock tracking.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies aligned with business goals.
- Monitor KPIs to track performance and report progress to senior management.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Distribution Manager or in a similar logistics leadership role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes inventory management and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in distribution management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
