As we continue to grow we seek a skilled and experienced Controller to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Controller who will play a key role in managing the financial health of Liona Enterprises Inc. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance accounting and a track record of success in working with small and midsized businesses particularly in the IT integration sector.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations government contracts and industry standards.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the companys assets and interests.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of accountability efficiency and continuous improvement.
Audit Preparation: Prepare for and coordinate financial audits liaising with external auditors as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Controller in a similar industry focusing on small and midsized businesses.
3. Familiarity with government contracts and regulations especially in the IT integration sector.
4. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting or finance. CPA designation or equivalent experience.
Government Contracting Expertise: Proven experience working with government contracts understanding the intricacies of compliance reporting and financial management within this context.
IT Integration Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of the IT integration sector including an understanding of the unique financial challenges and opportunities associated with technologydriven projects.

Adaptability: The capacity to adapt quickly to changing business environments regulations and industry trends ensuring the financial strategy remains aligned with the companys goals.
Collaborative Approach: A collaborative and proactive approach to working with crossfunctional teams fostering effective communication and coordination across departments.
ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify financial challenges and implement practical solutions.
Ethical Conduct: Unquestionable ethical conduct and integrity maintaining the highest standards of honesty and transparency in financial practices.
Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for financial analysis modeling and reporting.
