UES is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our Geotechnical Department in Las Vegas NV. As the Geotechnical Department Manager you will lead project provide technical oversight mentor junior engineers and build client relationships for one of the fastest growing AEC firms in the country.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Geotechnical Departments success including P&L management team supervision and project .
- Lead project pursuits prepare quotes and ensure timely
- Review and approve geotechnical deliverables
- Provide Geotechnical expertise to the local office and region.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers ensuring a safetydriven work environment.
- Provide mentorship field support and professional development for younger engineers
- Cultivate client relationships through client meetings proposals and active participation in industry organizations.
- Oversee project financial management including fee structuring quote development and budget control.
- Work with branch leadership other UES divisions to support UESs strategic goals and vision for growth.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or a related degree.
- 10years of Geotechnical consulting experience
- Professional Engineer; PE registration/license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively mentor teams lead projects and manage client relationships
- Prior experience leading small teams P/L responsibility and project management highly preferred.
