Job Overview
We are seeking a midlevel Estimation Engineer for our Mumbai location. This is a fulltime position requiring candidates with a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience in cost estimation and related fields. The ideal candidate will have strong cost estimation skills as well as expertise in project management analytical skills and technical knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 4 years to maximum 6 years of experience in cost estimation particularly in Steel Structural Fabrication industry only
- Strong expertise in cost estimation (Mandatory skill)
- Proficiency in project management to effectively oversee and coordinate estimation projects
- Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing data and creating accurate cost estimations
- Solid technical knowledge in relevant engineering and construction practices
- Proficiency in data analysis for interpreting complex data sets and providing insights
- Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all estimation tasks
- Solid problemsolving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during estimation processes
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various projects including materials labor and other resources
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints
- Analyze project specifications and closely examine construction drawings and other documents
- Conduct thorough market research to gather information on the latest pricing trends and industry standards
- Maintain uptodate and accurate cost databases and estimation software tools
- Provide regular updates and reports on estimation activities to senior management
- Review and refine estimation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines in all estimation activities
