External Description:

We are looking for a TechnologyManager for hands onmanagement of application development developerbased ops support and troubleshooting activities for enterprise applications as needed. This role also manages all internal and external developer resources in the delivery of technology solutions; plan and implement products including assembly of all associated materials such as documentation release notes installation quality and this candidate is not required to code they should have indepth experience coding in the person functions as a catalyst for change and operational improvement through enhanced/new system capabilities considers enterprisewide impacts when recommending solutions and demonstrates strong business knowledge understanding the companys key operational processes as well as a solid understanding of the companys technical individual should also be able to assist in problem solving and debugging system issues. The manager is able to perform all aspects of the position with additional responsibilities including but not limited to those outlined below:

• Develop and manage of project plans for the technical team define detail activities tasks and assign ownership to team members. Ensure completion of project tasks and project deliverables for area of responsibility
• Ensure the development and maintenance of the overall technical architecture and standards for Web technologies (PHP) and other technologies (e.g. HTML MySQL Linux Ubuntu API Integration SVN Jira).
• Manage/contribute to the SDLC processes and ensure the development of efficient code that meets the requirements
• Ability to articulate complex technical issues to business stakeholders
• Advise the company on PHP capabilities and other web technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems by developing business cases
• Anticipate mitigate identify troubleshoot and resolve problems (Ability to fully deconstruct and analyze complex issues)
• Responsible for overall financial scope and critical path management for assigned projects.
• Manages the financial time and resource aspects of project against a set budget and project plan.
• Review and evaluate work and prepare performance reports.
• Performs as an internal consultant advocate mentor and change agent.
• Provide vision and strategy for improvements.
• Lead and direct crossfunctional teams in the areas of scheduling technology direction future planning and standard development practices.
• Deliver schedule milestones ontime to ensure project/program objectives are met.
• Responsible for personnel decisions including performance review and hire/fire activities.
• Manage and mentor supervisors project leads and/or technical staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline and / or with appropriate industry qualifications
• 5 years of experience in high traffic/high available technology environment and cultures
• HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript PHP 5.3MySQL 5 Linux Ubuntu
• API Integrations for Payments Gateways Shipping Platforms Fraud Services Address Scrubs etc
• System Architecture (Flow Diagrams UML data models)
• Ticketing system (SVN Jira Confluence)
• Mobile optimized ECommerce platforms
• Amazon Cloud CDN and other web Services (Migrations and Implementations)
• Advanced project management skills such as PMP Scrum Master
• Background in Affiliate Management Systems and ECommerce Platforms
• Ability to lead a technical team and participate in code reviews
• Release Management
• Excellent interpersonal and internal customer relationship skills
• Display leadership attributes
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience in leading the recovery of critical IT systems following a major incident
