THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Specialty Anesthesia Technician is to provide anesthesia support for the surgeon you are assigned to in the surgery department. When not performing anesthesia for your assigned surgeon you will assist the other surgeons in the surgery department as well as the anesthesia service.
You will practice the highest quality of anesthetic monitoring care for the patients of the MSPCA and work in conjunction with a team of doctors technicians and visitors maintaining a positive enthusiastic attitude in this fast paced team oriented environment.
You must be reliable independent be able to multitask and excel in interpersonal communication skills.
Some Responsibilities Include:
Physical Requirements:
Able to stoop bend kneel and stand for prolonged periods of time
Able to move patients weighing to 22 kgs repeatedly. Over 22 kgs with assistance.

WHY ANGELL
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least 3 years of veterinary technician/assistant experience in an anesthesia exclusive environment. Certified Veterinary Technician CVT required for a technician role. As this position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills we require applicants to include a cover letter showcasing your writing skills.
