Job Description:
Weare looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Control & InstrumentationEngineer to join the Central Engineering Team. In this role you will act asthe Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of Control &Instrumentation (C&I) engineering ensuring the successful development andimplementation of process automation and control systems across multipleindustrial projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Engineering and drive standardization optimization and safety across projects.
- Provide technical leadership in the C&I discipline and serve as the escalation point for project teams.
- Lead the standardization of C&I systems and equipment onsite.
- Serve as the custodian of C&I standards and guidelines.
- Oversee team competency and resource planning in collaboration with design managers.
- Support the development and handover of new project scopes to Engineering Contractors.
- Manage engineering contracts with thirdparty suppliers and ensure performance alignment.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Controls Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
- 8 years of industry experience in steel manufacturing processes or similar heavy industries.
- 5 years in a senior C&I engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of European and Swedish standards and regulations.
- Expertise in Technical and Process Safety.
- Proficiency in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) DCS PLCs SCADA and field instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs control philosophies and telecom specifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus.
- Skilled in engineering software project management systems and digital tools.
- Strong integrity and courage to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Effective communicator with excellent organizational skills.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for successful project .
