Job Description

Position Type: Parttime Adjunct
Compensation: $800 $950 per credit based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTIConcords Community College Concord NH

Overview:

The Nursing Department at NHTI Concords Community College is building a talent pool of qualified adjunct faculty to fulfill future instructional needs in nursing and other allied health fields. This is an exciting opportunity to educate and mentor future healthcare professionals equipping them with the critical knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in patient care and clinical settings.

As an adjunct faculty member youll play a key role in shaping the next generation of nurses and allied health professionals emphasizing realworld applications evidencebased practice and handson learning. Whether teaching in the classroom or clinical setting your expertise will help students build a strong foundation in healthcare principles patient care and professional ethics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in nursing.
  • Experience: Three years of teaching preferred and experience in the area of anticipated teaching assignment.
  • License/Certification: Current license as RN in the State of NH. Employment is contingent on receipt of NH Board of Nursing approval.
  • Residency: Must reside in NH VT ME MA RI or CT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Provide instruction and supervision using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement: Foster active learning through assignments discussions and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance provide feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional and clinical site policies and guidelines.
