Job Description
Fort Larned USD 495 Social Worker/Family Support Worker/AtRisk Behaviorist
Position Overview: Fort Larned USD 495 is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Social Worker/Family Support Worker/AtRisk Behaviorist at Fort Larned Elementary. This position will actively work with school teams and community agencies within Fort Larned Elementary to assist students in grades PK5 with socialemotional support trauma abuse or significant behavioral needs. The role involves leading intervention strategies and working with SIT teams within the building to provide support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide socialemotional support to students.
- Assist students dealing with trauma abuse or significant behavioral needs.
- Lead intervention strategies within the school.
- Collaborate with SIT teams to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree and certification in social work counseling or a related field.
- Experience working with children and families in a school or community setting preferred.
