Job Description

CRT Supervisor

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is a nonprofit organization that provides technical advisory services training and capacity development to First Nations communities in Ontario. By offering a wide range of specialized services and expertise OFNTSC helps to enhance the quality of life promote technical selfsufficiency and foster economic growth within these communities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Circuit Rider Trainer Program (CRTP) Supervisor to join our team at OFNTSC. Under the guidance of the Director of Operations the CRTP Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the daytoday operations of the CRTP portfolio including the coordination and scheduling of work plans of all Circuit Rider Trainers and Circuit Rider Trainer administration staff. This position requiresbeing responsible for providing direction and assisting the Circuit Rider Trainers with planning organizing and delivering the CRTP to Water and Wastewater Treatment Plan Operators to First Nations throughout the Province of Ontario.

These tasks must be executed in alignment with the culture and values of OFNTSC while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Postsecondary education in a relevant field and minimum 5 years related experience an asset.

Supervisory or managerial experience is required.

Sensitivity to the unique needs of First Nations peoples.

Province of Ontario Class II Water & Wastewater accreditations/licenses.

Maintain proper certification and membership through recognized training authorities.

Acquire ongoing education to meet OFNTSC minimal skill requirements.

Effective communication skills (meetings oral and written) with various professionals.

Strong Organizational Skills to multitask and prioritize projects and various tasks.

Conditions:

Reliable insured vehicle and Valid Class G Ontario drivers license.

Extensive traveling required through the Province of Ontario

*Priority will be given to First Nations applicants who meet the mandatory requirements.
