The UPS Store #3006 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Henrico Virginia. As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in managing a team of staff members. This is a fulltime hourly customer service job with a focus on management. The compensation for this role is $17 to $20 per hour and is paid semimonthly.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations including but not limited to staffing scheduling store maintenance inventory management and customer service
Train and develop team members to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed consistently by all team members
Monitor and maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Create and maintain a positive work environment for all team members
Assist with financial management including cash handling deposits and reporting
Act as the Store Manager in their absence
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent college degree preferred
Previous management experience in a retail or customer service environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional overtime
Proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
