Job Description
Description of the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor to join our team at Tutor Doctor North County San Diego. As a Tutor you will be responsible for providing engaging and effective middle/high school math tutoring sessions to help students improve their understanding and skills in math.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized tutoring sessions in math to middle/high school students inhome 1:1
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assess students individual needs and develop customized lesson plans.
- Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to address students learning styles.
- Monitor students progress and provide valuable feedback to students and parents.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in tutoring middle/high school math.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of math concepts at the middle/high school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient flexible and able to adapt teaching methods to individual students needs.
- Reliable transportation to travel to students homes in N. County San Diego
