Normal Work Schedule:Monday Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some nights and weekends.
Job Summary:The Research Assistant II assists with research work tasks of moderatecomplexity in support of a research project under moderate supervision. May assist with ordering equipment and supplies set up of equipment performing experiments monitoring results data collection preparation of support materials etc. May supervise students.
Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in related field (Psychology Neuroscience Human Development and Family Studies etc.
Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge:Techsavvy and a quick learner of new technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead/organize others including creating/implementing organizational systems. Professional positive and flexible attitude. Ability to multitask and prioritize as well as work independently under minimal supervision or as part of a team. Experience working with infants and/or young children.
Preferred Qualifications:Fluency in Spanish. Experience with Microsoft Office and Apple products.
