Job Description
We are seeking a suitably experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join our Newhaul Port Logistics team on a permanent fulltime basis working 12hour shifts on a 7 Days 7 Nights 7 Off Roster.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance and repairs for fixed plant equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Breakdown response and fault diagnosis to minimise downtime at the Port including responding to trailer tipping issues.
- Component replacements and mechanical adjustments to improve plant efficiency.
- Preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
- Collaboration with boilermakers and electricians on major repairs and infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications :
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
