- Night shift role (8:24 pm 5 am in non-daylight savings and 10:24 pm 7 am in daylight savings)
- Flexibility in hours and days are also required (including public holidays and weekends)

Whats the role
Financial Markets & Treasury Operations forms part of WIB Operations under Group Operations within the Chief Operating Office division.
WIB Operations supports the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) and we pride ourselves on being a business unit that is equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of the market while remaining committed to our different customers stakeholders and products. Financial Markets & Treasury Operations is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model which is supported by our Global FX Operations team.
The role of the Officer Financial Markets and Treasury isresponsible for the confirmations and settlement of a portfolio of transactions traded by Westpac Banking Corporation and its subsidiaries. Products include Deposits BONDS REPOS FX Carbon Bilateral and Syndicated Loans.
What do I need
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Specific product knowledge advantageous (Syndicated Bilateral Loans)
- Specific product knowledge advantageous (Bonds Derivatives FX)
- Specific system knowledge advantageous (Euroclear Murex Calypso)
- Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a fast paced environment
